I’m an Associate Professor (Profesor Titular de Universidad) at the Department of Applied Physics I of the University of Málaga (Spain). I’m also a member of the Group of Statistical Physics and Dispersed Media (FQM-278, Junta de Andalucía).

My research deals with the theoretical description of the physical properties of biological and soft matter systems, such as colloids, functional nanoparticles and biological or synthetic polymers, using approaches from statistical physics.
